I have been using Hivelocity for around 6 months now and have been a very happy customer. I am pretty picky when it comes to hosting providers. I want to be able to customize my systems in a very specific manner, and I also want a host who has good peering relationships and knowledgeable customer support. Hivelocity has delivered on all three of these.

They were able to quickly provision my system from their easy to use portal, and support was very responsive when I had questions about hardware provisioning as well as for other networking related issues. I am also very happy that they provide native IPv6 to my systems which is another primary requirement for my systems. The network performance has been fantastic, and the fact that they have a presence at 1 Wilshire in LA is also another huge bonus for me.

We have been with Hivelocity for past 6 years their never have been problem of downtime . we have had multiple servers with them and the level of support is superb if you ran into a problem they are blazing fast to fix that problem the have one of the best support team i have seen in the industry.

Last year my server was down. Contacted Hivelocity, they answered immediately, searched for the problem, they found it in 20 minutes. They promised me to repair the server in 30 minutes, and in 30 minutes it was repaired, and on the air. I was on a train between Hannover and Frankfurt, with no computer, only with my handy.
Also, last year I had problems with two companies that were charging me without telling me. This has never happened with Hivelocity. Everything is always transparent and open.
Last year I hired a second server at Hivelocity, this year I will buy a third one. Couldn't find a better price in my country.

I've hosted with Hivelocity for about a year, with a dedicated server in their NYC1 location. I also use their RapidRestore backup server and briefly hosted a server in their LAX location for a temporary need. Overall, I've been extremely satisfied with the level of service and support I've received from them. They're very responsive to support tickets and I have experienced zero equipment or network downtime. The one time I really needed them was when I made a serious misconfiguration to a production server and needed a full restore from backup. They were extremely responsive and had me up and running in under two hours despite the issue occurring on a Saturday afternoon. The only area I've marked them down is their pricing - I could get the same equipment for less elsewhere, but it wouldn't come with the reliability and support that Hivelocity provides. I'm hosting sites for clients who are paying me - it simply isn't it worth it to cut corners for a few dollars of savings and risk downtime. You can't wrong with HV if you need dedicated servers.

I have had dedicated servers and VPS servers for over 15 years. I was with an other company until last year when their customer service became terrible and my server kept crashing... (I mean ... over and over and they couldn't/wouldn't fix it). A friend recommended Hivelocity and I can't tell you how glad I am!!!!! Amazing customer service, FAST servers, great pricing - the entire process of moving was fairly seamless and the ongoing support I've had has been excellent. Have been with them for 6 months - couldn't be more pleased.

Service and support provided by this company is actually rare these days. Problems are owned, addressed and resolved to your satisfaction. All personnel are in US and support you get is true and real, not just in words but in action.
