One of the best shared hosting providers with decent prices
I host sites with them on shared accounts for several years and I currently manage 7 accounts there. Undoubtedly, it has been one of the best hosting companies I've ever tested, with amazing support and great plan structures for really decent prices. I'm very surprised to read some negative reviews here as they really deserve better recognition.
Worst Customer Service... Just trying to change my account email.. 2 yrs and 5 requests.. still not changed
Been asking since 2018 to have my old gmail address removed and use my icloud one... its 2020 and you cant change it yourself... you have to request it with a service ticket... Everytime.. they keep asking for something different and the ticket gets closed... Latest is to respond to email chain and put my PIN in the email??? Nice security practice....
If it comes down to HawkHost vs competitor.. ... I would say strongly consider the competitor
I've been with Hawk Host for more or less about 5 years and have subsequently in that time slowly grew my hosting package. I lately had to downgrade due to the Covid Situation to save costs where I can and Hawk Host were super helpful as always in assisting which triggered my intentions of writing a positive review as they did not resist or try to upsell me, but supported my actions.
Over the years I've opened more than 50 support requests with Hawk Host and have almost always received a response within 12 hours - and no later than 24 hours - even on weekends. I would consider Hawk Host to be extremely valuable and reliable, and good value for money.
has been 3 days or so on my hosting not yet ready or started, paid full for a years and have to wait for another year to get my hosting ready.. what a great hosting from hawkhost.(get the f*ck out from this hosting company or think an hundreds time before ordering this hosting)
Hawkhost is a great low budget web hosting company - I've been a customer for 7 years
I don't normally leave reviews, but need to chime in on my experience with Hawkhost over the past 7 years I've hosted with them. I've hosted both personal and business websites with Hawkhost, using both shared and VPS hosting, and some sites with fairly high volume. Their hosting has been excellent, their uptime has been excellent, and more importantly, I think their support is the best in the business. I have never had a ticket take longer than an hour to be responded to, even in the middle of the night if something is broken. They truly have 24x7 support. Their servers are fast because I don't think they overprovision them. 7 years ago I migrated away two of the big names in hosting because their servers were horribly slow. I couldn't be happier with that decision. I've been happy to always recommend Hawkhost to my colleagues when I hear they are looking for a low cost hosting provider
He's a non native English speaker who might not have the vocabulary to insult the host in a way that you seem to think would validate his experience. All I can see is someone from Japan who has had a bad experience.
This id**** disable my account without previous notice they promise a lot things Stay away from HawkHost! They promise many things but they provide nothing! this guys are just a scam low price really sucks my recommendation stay away a big one they let you build your website they promise things and they and close We have unfortunately been forced to disable your account as it was found to be sending spam/UCE. Spam is a very serious offense and it risks not only the integrity of your account/domain but our entire network.
In our experience, accounts found to be sending spam are compromised due to outdated/unmaintained software, scripts, or plugins. It is also very common to see email accounts compromised due to poor password policy or an infected system/computer on your local network.
