My site, data and domain, all down. No replies to issues, they charged me for year, and they didn't provide that. And just this moment, they charged again! I couldn't remove my CC automatic payment. I think this becomes a fraud now.
Tickets remain open, there is no longer a chat. My SSL certificate expired recently and there is no way on the site to correct it. If you go to certificates the "buy" is dead, and no prices are listed. Basically the site is a bit of a ghost site. A lot of dead error pages. Was on Downtown host since 2013. Support WAS 5 stars when I stared, with Jorge always at the helm. I just moved my forum to another host. Downtown host is a ghost of what it was.
I started using DHT 11+ years ago, it was great but over the past few months they have disappeared. Not a single response to a ticket. Frantically trying to back everything up but their admin panel has expired licenses and broken tools. Sadly the lowest score the site will allow me to give is 2/10.
Yep, same here. Sites go down, email goes down, can't reach your own control panel, and there is ZERO response to trouble tickets ... and not just once. And there is absolutely no other way to reach them ... they've removed the ability to reach them by phone. Just terrible, and they simply don't care.
Comparing DTH with 10 years a go when customer got response on every ticket within 30 minutes right now you can be happy if you receive answet at all. And it looks as nobody care about it.
Server was 2 days a go down for 20h and support is nowhere to find. Not any response. Not any word about whats going on and why is server down. I have opened 3 tickets asking to any explanation. Nothing
This kind of support services that DTH provide is absolutely unaccepptable.
I do not want to mention my old ticket where i asked for explanation why is server every day down for 5-8 minutes at the same time. Nobody from support ever bother to give me any answer.
Its beeing difficult to reach support, no chat available, emails don't get answered fast and tickets are just left to rot. I need you to activate estudiocreaimagen.com account, the charges were applied on december 17 and account is still pending on Client Area.
I used downtown host for years and every year there was an issue with the auto renew of my site. Usually I’d contact support and within a day or two they would get the server back up and running. When it happened yet again this year I contacted support and received zero assistance. I was in conversation with someone who said that they just needed to activate the domain again and that was the last correspondence I received. I opened multiple tickets with absolutely no answer or assistance. This went on for a full month, in that time I lost total access to my domain and my email. The domain was finally released and I purchased it again through another company, for much cheaper I would also like to say! I would strongly dissuade anyone from doing business with this company!! I lost out on business, my email and now have to rebuild my seo rating from scratch. Horrible customer service! Horrible company!
I've been with DowntownHost for about 5 years now, and was happy with their quick replies to infrequent support requests. I got help whenever I needed it. Recently though I downgraded our service plan with them and ended up paying about $50 too much. I've opened several support tickets over months about getting this addressed, but I receive no response at all from them. I'll be looking for a different host.
When everything works then all is ok. However when something goes wrong they are slow to respond. My company email and company website were both down for over 24hrs. I lost money in sales and who knows what we lost in customer confidence. Both the website and email were down due to changes they made. Then they tried to correct the situation and ended up damaging the website. I had to pay a outside developer to fix the problem they caused. During the process Downtown host was very very unhelpful to correct the problem they caused. They have no phone number to call. You have to just send them a message and then wait around for a response that may or may not ever come.
We announced the move in 4 emails, he does not change the nameservers to the new pair, when the old server went down, he panicked, he's not honest saying that he had to hire to somebody because we fixed all the software related issues that he reported to us, we guided him to fix the email related issues too.
I specifically requested a plan change via a support ticket and they CLOSED the tickets without even replying to them. I just received a new invoice with the older plan, it seems that they are having a shortage of personal and NOBODY is answering the customers request. I have more than 10 years with them and lately they don't answer my requests, I am still willing to give them a chance to resolve all this issues if they do it PRONTO!! I even ask them if they are trying to evict me or no longer want me as a customer. PD. My account was NEVER suspended because of payment or misuse issues.
Actually that's not true, I was checking all his tickets and all were answered witting the hour of being opened, there was a problem with his emails, but it was not caused by us since he don't use our MX records.
