About fifteen(?) years ago I chose 50webs while honing my HTML/CSS/SEO skills, and I still have the account active. Not once have I ever had any problems with 50webs. In my web design business, I have tested dozens of different hosting services (some free, but mostly paid), and the number of known good hosts sums to three: one of which is 50webs. Numerous times on my top ranked pages I have promoted and given links to 50webs (links from those pages are only given to the very best sites). I highly recommend 50webs, especially for people new to building their own websites.

I used 50webs hosting many years ago because I have a WYSIWYG that I use to create web pages but know absolutely nothing else about putting it on the internet. I don't even have a smart phone because they are complicated. This time around I struggled to even fill out basic publishing info, didn't know how to do anything and just made a mess of things. 50webs tech support rescued me, cleaned up the mess I made of things, and got my website online. I think tech support is one of the most important aspects of hosting, and I tried other services and ended up cancelling in one day because the support was so bad I couldn't even ask basic questions (not covered in any FAQ sections I was constantly referred to). Still waiting on a response from one company after 3 days. 50webs answers within minutes. They are so patient and will keep trying until your issue is resolved, no matter how ignorant you are of the terminology and the workings of domains etc. Can't recommend this hosting enough. It's the best out there.

I have been using 50 webs for more than 8 years. In these years I needed their help 4-5 times and the problem was solved within 10-20 minutes. I am very happy with them and I will definitely renew my subscription.
There are some reviewers who write that the user interface is outdated. It might be so, but it is very easy to understand and fully functional. If something is older it does not mean necessarily that it is inferior and if it is newer it does not mean that it is necessarily better. For those interested in a reliable outcome for their website, 50webs is an excellent solution, considering price, efficiency of servers and the support.

I have been using 50Webs since my very first webpage 10-12 years ago. I'm a small time user and not terribly knowledgeable about how things work but these guys are simple fantastic at solving problems very quickly. For the record, the problems are almost always caused by me. Yet, they jump right in and resolve immediately. I an only remember my sites being down once in the past ten years and that was for a very short time. I'm glad I found these guys on my first try!
